Abstrakt

Retoryka przywództwa w czasach kryzysu ma zasadnicze znaczenie dla budowania wspólnoty i zaufania społecznego. W badaniu zastosowano podejście krytyki retorycznej, aby zanalizować strategie komunikacyjne przywódców w początkowej fazie pandemii COVID-19 w Stanach Zjednoczonych, Wielkiej Brytanii i Nowej Zelandii (Donald Trump, Boris Johnson i Jacinda Ardern), wykorzystując ramy teorii przywództwa charyzmatycznego, ideologicznego i pragmatycznego (CIP). Szczegółowa analiza przemówień wskazuje, w jaki sposób każdy przywódca radzi sobie z wyjątkowymi wyzwaniami stawianymi przez pandemię, dowodząc, że mieszane podejście Ardern jest skuteczne w złożonych kryzysach i podkreślając znaczenie elastycznych i wrażliwych na kontekst strategii komunikacyjnych. Niniejsze badanie przyczynia się do rozwijania krytyki retorycznej poprzez wgląd w skuteczność różnych technik w czasie globalnych wyzwań. Analiza dostarcza cennych perspektyw dla decydentów, komunikatorów i naukowców.

  • Jens Elmelund Kjeldsen - University of Bergen

    Jens E. Kjeldsen is Professor of Rhetoric and Visual Communication at University of Bergen, Norway. He has written extensively about rhetoric, visual communication and argumentation, speech making, speech writing and PowerPoint-presentations. He is the founder and former head of Rhetoric Society of Europe. Several of his publications, including two edited collections, deal with reception-oriented approaches in the field of rhetoric.
