Abstrakt

Wychodząc od krytycznej analizy i wniosków zawartych w pracy (Cap 2024), artykuł poszerza aparat krytyczno-kognitywnych badań nad dyskursem o narzędzia teorii retoryki, na rzecz zintegrowanego, kompleksowego studium dyskursu legitymizacji przywództwa czołowych polskich partii politycznych w latach 2015-2023. Pierwsza część bierze pod lupę konserwatywno-prawicowy dyskurs partii rządowej PiS, analizując takie zjawiska jak polaryzacja ideologiczna, dyskursywny populizm, strategia tworzenia konfliktu oraz zarządzanie wywołanym kryzysem. Druga część tekstu bada liberalno-lewicowy dyskurs trzech partii opozycyjnych w zwycięskiej kampanii parlamentarnej 2023. Artykuł porównuje oba typy dyskursów, stawiając tezy dotyczące zakresu efektywności nacechowanego ideologią konfliktu dyskursu populistycznego. Autor dowodzi, że ultraradykalny dyskurs populistyczny oparty o strategie tworzenia zagrożenia i podziałów społecznych jest niezwykle efektywnym i silnym narzędziem politycznym, zdolnym trwale wspierać przywództwo w długim okresie czasu. Jednak w jeszcze dalszej perspektywie, dyskurs ten podlega wielu nieuchronnym ograniczeniom, wynikającym z braku elastyczności w adresowaniu zarówno przeszłych, jak i przyszłych zdarzeń i zjawisk historyczno-politycznych.
